Tenino is suitable for use to preserve wood items such as; fences, landscape timbers, trailer decks, roofs, poles, fence posts, military boxes, end-cuts, field-cuts, bolt-holes, railroad ties, boats, piers, docks, bridges, bridge repair, siding, salt sheds, pilings, piling cuts, piling trimming, arches, archwaysTenino complies with AWPA standard M-4, for use on previously pressure treated wood. Click here for M-4 compliance document. Tenino CU Nap is designed to be applied by brush or roller to outdoor wood.  Tenino is not allowed for indoor treatments because of odor. Click here for low-odor, interior preservative choices from Poles, Inc.  Use caution when applying Tenino to areas where odor could be a problem.  Tenino preserves against wood destroying organisms including, subterranean termites, drywood termites, wood destroying beetles, powder-post beetles, carpenter ants, and decay.  Tenino Wood Preservative is also helpful for protecting against warping, swelling, shrinking, and end-checking of wood.  Always read and follow US EPA label directions.
